Guidelines for in-person Yoga Sessions
- In-person sessions are held in the Common Room at Galleywood Heritage Centre, The Common (Off Margaretting Road), Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 8TR
- Space is limited for in-person sessions and priority will be given to monthly bookings. Booking in for the month guarantees your space in every session. Drop-in is also available and works on a first come first served basis.
- Sessions are £10 when booked monthly and paid for in advance or £12 drop-in. You can pay cash on the day, do a bank transfer or use the online booking link if you prefer.
- Monthly payment for in person sessions is due before or on the 1st class of the month and can be paid for either by cash, bank transfer or through the online payment links. Monthly payment will be adjusted for more or less than 4 weeks. If you miss a pre paid session I am unable to transfer it to the following month however you are welcome to join an alternative session in the week within the same month period.
- WHAT TO BRING: If you have your own yoga mat please bring it. However, if you are just starting out or you forget your mat then I have mats to borrow for the class. Please also bring a blanket or an extra layer of clothing for the relaxation as the body will cool down quite a bit during this part of the class and it is hard to relax if you feel cold! You may also like a small cushion or folded blanket for underneath the head or knees. Whilst the room at our venue warms up quite well the floor can be a little cold, I recommend an extra thick mat, or 2 mats placed one on top of the other and a blanket underneath or sandwiched in the middle. Example below.
- WHAT TO WEAR: Whatever you are comfortable in, just make sure you can move easily. Sometimes wearing a few layers is better so you can take them off and on depending on your body temperature. The class takes place in bare feet but it's nice to have some socks for the relaxation!
- Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your session and please note we must vacate hall 15 minutes after the class has finished.
- The hall has plenty of parking, toilet and hand washing facilities, wheelchair access, a disabled toilet and disabled parking.
