Yoga Retreat Day
Nestled in the heart of the Essex countryside at the beautiful Retreat farm, and in the space known as The Sanctuary, I invite you to enjoy a whole day of nurturing yoga with aromatherapy, spacious breath and deep, healing relaxation.
A Yoga Retreat Day offers much needed 'me time'.
A time to connect to the quiet space within yourself.
A safe, nurturing time and space needed for healing and insight.
In the morning yoga session, and without the time restraints of a general class, we can gently and slowly open and release tension from the body, taking time to explore yoga in a deeper way. We will be enhancing our practise using aromatherapy and you will receive your own personal samples from Doterra's Yoga Collection to work with and take home. You are free to ask questions or just embrace your own quietness where observations and insights can arise.
At lunchtime there will be time for you to explore nature, chat, cry, laugh, rest, sleep, write or whatever you feel the need to do or just be!
In the afternoon we will be looking at our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. We will explore how yoga can be used as a therapeutic tool to support these aspects and look at other practises we can incorporate into our every day life to improve our well-being.
We will finish the day with the deeply healing and relaxing practise of Yoga Nidra.
This is a small group setting of just 8 people.
Please bring a packed lunch. Teas, coffee and snacks will be provided throughout the day.

WHAT TO BRING: If you have your own yoga mat please bring it. However if you are just starting out or you forget your mat then I have mats to borrow for the day. Please bring a blanket or an extra layer of clothing for the relaxation as the body will cool down quite a bit during this part of the day and it is hard to relax if you feel cold! You may also like to bring some slippers for moving around the holistic centre. Please bring a pack lunch.
WHAT TO WEAR: Whatever you are comfortable in, just make sure you can move easily. Sometimes wearing a few layers is better so you can take them off and on depending on your body temperature. The class takes place in bare feet but it's nice to have some socks for the relaxation!
