I have been reminded repeatedly this month of the importance of self-care. That you must put on your own mask before helping others and to never underestimate the power and benefit of devoting time and space to yourself and your well-being.
I would like to offer you time and space and have set up workshops and retreats throughout the year. The tranquil setting of these workshops and retreat days offers a mini retreat where you can completely focus on having some time and space for yourself and look at your needs and well-being and explore some tools needed for healing, stress relief and health on all levels of your being. These are small group settings allowing me to give much more individualised attention than in a general class, this allows us to work much deeper. The beauty of working deeper means that the benefits are much longer lasting and can in some cases have a positive life changing impact. If you would like to book multiple workshops/retreats you can spread the cost by making a £10 deposit for each workshop/retreat you wish to attend then the remainder can be paid one month before the day of the workshop/retreat.
I would like to point out that due to the nature of the Healing Space Retreat there are only 6 spaces in total for this very special day so early booking is advised. The monthly Relaxation and Meditation class is this Friday 2nd February 8-9pm. Please bring any cushions/blocks/pillows/blankets you need to be comfortable either sitting or lying down. Please also make sure you are dressed comfortably and warmly. There are just 2 spaces left in this session. Please remember that yoga is about working with your own body, there is no pressure to keep up or even have to do everything if it doesn't feel comfortable. Yoga is progressive and if you give your body time, and focus on the relaxation, all the other parts (strength, flexibility etc.) will fall into place.
