I do have some very exciting news to share with you in the next few days so please keep an eye out for an email 👀

OCTOBER SESSIONS

In September we've been working through the foundations of meditation, it's a great introduction if you've ever wondered what it's all about.  You'll find the sessions in the library if you are interested and we will be continuing our journey into October, these sessions are super relaxing and everyone is welcome to join the sessions through the Yoga and Meditation Portal.

In our yoga, we've been focusing on balance and the core as well as working on those tight shoulders.  This month we will continue working with the new rhythm of Autumn as the weather cools and our bodies adjust.

Whether you are practising with me online or in person please remember that yoga is about working with your own body, there is no pressure to keep up or even have to do everything if it doesn't feel comfortable.  Yoga is progressive and if you give your body time, and focus on the relaxation, all the other parts (strength, flexibility etc.) will fall into place

FOR ONLINE SESSIONS

You'll find the online live sessions listed in the events tab in your online library or on the calendar when you sign into your account.  The Join Session link will activate at the time of the event allowing you to join the session. Remember you don't have to join in live if you don't want to, all the live sessions are in the library and available for catch up at a convenient time.

FOR IN PERSON SESSIONS

Space is limited for in-person sessions and priority will be given to monthly bookings.   Pre booking is essential.  Call or message 07887754320 to check availability and to book in for a session.

Monthly payment for in person sessions is due before or on the 1st class of the month and can be paid for either by cash, bank transfer or through the online payment links.  Please use the highlighted links under the sessions above for online payment (please note PayPal make a small charge for online payments).  Monthly payment will be adjusted for more or less than 4 weeks.

WHAT TO BRING: If you have your own yoga mat please bring it.  However, if you are just starting out or you forget your mat then I have mats to borrow for the class.  Please also bring a blanket or an extra layer of clothing for the relaxation as the body will cool down quite a bit during this part of the class and it is hard to relax if you feel cold! You may also like a small cushion or folded blanket for underneath the head or knees.

WHAT TO WEAR: Whatever you are comfortable in, just make sure you can move easily. Sometimes wearing a few layers is better so you can take them off and on depending on your body temperature.  The class takes place in bare feet but it's nice to have some socks for the relaxation!

Please see this link: Guidelines for in-person yoga sessions

If you have any questions or queries please feel free to contact me.

Peace and blessings to you

Kind regards

NEWS AND UPDATES

I hope this email finds you and your family well 🙏

I'm so excited to share with you that last month, Insight Timer selected my 'Can't Sleep?' track to feature on their platform.  In 24 hours I went to bed with over 5,000 people from all over the world! 🥴 and the feedback has been so incredible, I'm so happy to have been able to help so many people get to sleep and enjoy a restful night.  I've just received another email that they have decided to feature the track again today!! If you would like to experience the track for yourself here is the link (its free!): https://insighttimer.com/victoriayoga/guided-meditations/cant-sleep

As I mentioned last month I am currently studying in the Masters of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher Training with the incredible Davidji. This week, as part of an assignment, we had to record a short 2 minute video discussing the benefits of meditation, I thought I would share mine with you in case it is of interest https://youtu.be/xrqoKl34Oqs

As I discussed in the video having a regular meditation practise is so important for physical health, mental health and wellbeing.  Meditation can be practised by anyone, anywhere and no equipment is necessary.  If you are new to meditation or even if you have been doing meditation for years but like to explore new techniques or listen to guided meditations then using an online service or app is a great resource.  Here are details of online resources that I feel fortunate to be a part of:

AURA
Find peace everyday with Aura
 - discover thousands of meditations to relieve stress, anxiety, improve sleep, relax and more - personalized just for you.

Featured on: Forbes, The Oprah Magazine, The New York Times, Women’s & Men’s Health, and more!

SEPTEMBER SESSIONS

In August we used meditation to explore the emotions, and it was lovely to receive such positive feedback. As September often sees the start of a new school year I thought we would get back to some of the foundations of meditation, so this is a perfect time to join the sessions if you haven't done so yet.  These sessions are super relaxing and everyone is welcome to join the sessions through the Yoga and Meditation Portal.

In our yoga, we've been putting a bit of everything into our sessions offering some more challenging elements and also adding more specific elements such as upper body work, neck and shoulders, leg work, back care, balance through core strength, deep stretching, breath work and deep relaxation as well as adding variety into our sun salutations.  This month we will adjust to the new rhythm as we move towards Autumn. I wanted to reshare the September Slowdown session I offered a few years ago as its so great to do at this time of the year, its available in your library as well as on YouTube youtu.be/MLAkfjpYExA

NEWS AND UPDATES

I hope this email finds you and your family well 🙏

I am enjoying our new venue and am so pleased with the space we have, I know that the rules have been changed regarding social distancing but I would like to continue keeping space in our sessions so that everyone feels safe and comfortable.

In July I began a lifelong dream of mine to study in the Masters of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher Training with the incredible Davidji.  I am thoroughly enjoying the course even if its pretty intense and very deep reaching on a personal level.  I look forward to sharing insights with you all along the way but mostly I have been reminded so far of how deeply powerful a simple and regular practise is.   As a result I have been spending time on lots of new meditation recordings and updating both Insight Timer and Aura so please feel free to join me on either, you can find details below.

I am in the final stages of putting together a 10 day immersive visualisation course called Mind Retreats which I am super excited to share with you soon!!  Here is a little shot of me in my new recording studio 😁🎤💖

FROM MY HEART...

I just want to take a moment to really say thank you for all your support, whether that's been signing up to the online portal, attending in-person sessions, joining and listening on the amazing Aura app, taking part in an online event, listening to my meditations online, the extra donations towards classes or just giving me beautiful feedback over all the different platforms and media.

There have certainly been a few points over the last year or so when I thought I might not be able to keep it all going, I know other small businesses and teachers have suffered too, so I just wanted to take a moment to really appreciate you all and to recognise that all the support, no matter how big or small, does count! 💖

If you have any questions or queries please feel free to contact me.

Peace and blessings to you

NEWS AND UPDATES

Namastream have improved and updated the whole platform which means Victoria Yoga Online will have a new look and feel and should be even easier to use and navigate.  I've been able to use and preview the new site and it looks and feels really good! It also means the mobile app is on its way very soon! Plus lots of other great features are in the pipeline! Exciting! Your login will remain the same and I'll update the tutorials ASAP but if you do run into any issues please let me know.  Check out the new site  www.victoriayogaonline.com

A few questions I've had recently are: When will in-person classes start back? and what will happen to the online yoga? In regards to returning to in-person classes, I will continue to assess the government guidelines and the advice of the governing bodies.  It's looking likely that it will not be before May 17th for indoor sessions and I will have to assess the weather and guidelines on outdoor sessions.  The guidelines over the last year have never been straight forward and always subject to change so please have patience and do make use of the online platform in the meantime.  In regards to the online platform my hope is for it to continue long term if there is enough support.  It has allowed me to offer yoga and meditation 24/7 and to anywhere in the world.  I've also been able to offer courses and events that benefit from the online technology available such as in the Respiratory Health Course with the use of video explanations of anatomy and the break down of yogic techniques for breathing. It's also been a great supplement to use along side in-person classes as well as a complete practise for those who cannot attend in-person classes.  I put my energy and passion into setting it up and the feedback has been incredible so yes I hope it can continue and I thank everyone who has supported Victoria Yoga Online so far 🙏

I have some exciting things to share with you over the next few months; I am currently working on a new online event for Spring and a new meditation album which I promise will be a real treat! There are also some other exciting things happening that I will share in due course...stay tuned! 😄

FREE WELLBEING SUPPORT

With the current climate being a challenge for many of us, I am offering a FREE Wellbeing Support portal.  It's completely free to use and includes a Wellbeing Support ebook, meditations, a yoga session AND you can join our live Monday night Meditation Sessions for free! You can sign up here.

MARCH SESSIONS

In our meditation and wellbeing sessions we are continuing with our Mind Retreat Series allowing us to travel and experience peace and tranquility using visualisation techniques. These sessions are super relaxing and everyone is welcome to join the sessions either through the Yoga and Meditation Portal or through the Wellbeing Support Portal.

In our yoga we have been mixing it up.  My birthday session saw us exploring all my favourite postures and why they are my favourites (Session 41 if you'd like to enjoy the replay). I shared a Scaravalli based session (Session 42) and the last few weeks we've been stretching deeply, grounding, opening and exploring. As spring approaches we will start to move the yoga forward into a new space and awareness.

RESPIRATORY HEALTH

I can't stress enough how important it is to look after your respiratory health and immune system in the current climate.  I put together an Online Respiratory Health Course back in March 2020 at the beginning of the first lockdown and I can now see doctors and nurses all over social media making some of the same suggestions in the treatment of COVID.  The Respiratory Health course however is much more complete with an in depth learning of the respiratory system, correct breathing, yoga, meditation and breathing exercises to strengthen and support respiratory health which is great for both prevention and recovery.  There are also extra support suggestions to help support the immune system and respiratory system in the event of illness and infection and an emotional support section. As a newsletter subscriber you are eligible for 10% off this course using the code VICYOGA10 at the checkout. You can sign up here

CORPORATE WELLNESS SOLUTIONS

I am now offering online wellness solutions for businesses.  With poor mental health costing UK employers up to £45bn a year and with rising cases in anxiety, depression and stress-related illness, never has it been so important to look after health and wellbeing in the workplace.  I am working together with a team of experts in the wellness field to provide businesses with bespoke online wellness solutions.  If you would like more details please see the following link Corporate Wellness.

As always, if you have any questions or queries or any subjects you would like to see covered on the online platform please feel free to contact me.

Peace and blessings to you

We've been covering Motivation and Mindset in our meditation/wellbeing sessions through January and will be finishing off our mini series this evening with the final instalment.  We will then next week be moving into a Mind Retreat Series allowing us to travel and experience peace and tranquility using visualisation techniques.

In our yoga we have been enjoying easing into our sessions and our bodies by working on joint health and physical wellbeing through gentle movement, stretching, opening, releasing and relaxation.  We also touched on some technical elements as well as breath and grounding.

There will not be a live yoga session on Thursday 11th but instead I will be sharing with you a slightly different pre-recorded session on that day for you to do in your own time at home.

Online Live Session Timetable and Updates

February online sessions
Mondays 8pm - 8.30pm - Meditation Session
Thursdays 8pm-9pm - Yoga Session
NO LIVE SESSION THURSDAY 11TH FEBRUARY - See portal library for a new recorded session on the day

You'll find the live sessions listed in the events tab in your online library or on the calendar tab when you sign into your account.  The Join Session link will go blue at the time of the event allowing you to join the session.

In-Person Yoga Timetable and Updates

In-person sessions are currently not allowed to run due to the government restrictions.  I will continue to monitor the situation and as soon as we are allowed I will resume sessions, although this is not looking likely for sometime.  In the meantime, please make use of the online platformwww.victoriayogaonline.com

You can sign up here
CORPORATE WELLNESS SOLUTIONS

I can now offer online wellness solutions for businesses.

As always, if you have any questions or queries or any subjects you liked to see covered on the online platform please feel free to contact me.

Peace and blessings to you

Kind regards

Here is some of the feedback from the event so far:

"Oh Victoria – it was SO lovely!
Your spoken words – so calm, clear and reassuring.
Your beautiful singing voice – so resonant, adding extra depth and texture to the bowls.
The amazing crystal bowls – oh wow! All laid out, illuminated, vibrating together.
The overall sound quality – so beautifully balanced and captured
."

"The twinkling setting. Your calm, gentle, leading presence. The wonderful sound balance. The lovely music – different and complementary. The fantastic video editing. The thoughtful camera work – how did you do the overhead shots?! 😊
I can’t begin to imagine how you pulled the direction and production of it together AND kept your mind, words and movement on the actual yoga!"

"I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the Yoga by Candlelight session and especially the sound bath.  I can’t believe I’ve never heard of a rainstick before! How lovely is that?!"

"The Xmas candlelight yoga was excellent and very relaxing as always"

"I just wanted to tell you that your Christmas Yoga and Sound Bath are blissfully magical and so healing.  Goodness, it was just what my body needed. Every moment I felt held and cared for by you.  It was like you were responding to my body personally.  You just knew everything I needed. You are a yoga magician. Thank you so much for pouring yourself so beautifully, heart and Soul, into this work that you share with us all. I feel very fortunate and grateful"

"It truly is a special way to spend 1.5 hours.  I loved every moment of it.  You bring me joy Victoria.  Thank you."

Don't forget tomorrow nights online live meditation and wellness session at 8pm, where we are continuing our course on Motivation and Mindset and looking at where we can place our attention to bring about positive changes in our lives.  You can access the session if you are signed up to the Yoga and Meditation Portal or if you are signed up to FREE Wellbeing Support.

JANUARY SESSIONS

We will be focusing this month on Motivation and Mindset in our meditation/wellbeing sessions.  We will be working on getting clear and connecting with what is important to us, what we would like to cultivate more of in our lives and letting go of what no longer serves us.  This will allow us to create intentions that help us to remain positive and focused regardless of what is happening externally.  A great way to start the New Year!

In our yoga we will be easing into our sessions and our bodies by working on joint health and physical wellbeing.  Expect gentle movement, stretching, opening, releasing and lots of deep healing relaxation.

I hope this email finds you and your family well.

Before 2021 arrives, I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU!

This year, like for most people, was tough.  I had many moments of not knowing how I could continue teaching and the move online was a risky one.  I am so grateful to those of you who embraced it, even when the technology seemed daunting and more online time an effort.  I really want to thank you for supporting me and my business, for the emails of encouragement, the extra donations and for sharing what I do with others.   I really want to continue supporting you and your wellbeing as we move into the New Year so please keep sharing the love 💕
If you haven't yet signed up for the Online Candlelit Yoga Event, now is the time! I've extended the event till the 4th January 2021 giving you more time to enjoy it.   The event includes a gentle, nourishing and nurturing yoga session in a beautiful candlelit setting with soothing music and an immersive relaxing sound bath with crystal singing bowls, voice and rainstick.

You can sign up using the following link:

The sessions are pre-recorded so you can experience them at a convenient time for you and you can also have the chance to repeat the sessions as many times as you like into the New Year.  You do not need a PayPal account to sign-up, you can use a credit or debit card but if you prefer to pay me directly then please get in contact.

I would LOVE to hear your feedback on this event to help me in the future so please let me know how you get on.

Whilst I'm taking some quiet time before the New Year, my mind is busy working and planning so if you have any ideas you'd like to share with me or if there is anything you would like to see more of in our up and coming sessions please let me know.

Oh I almost forgot!!! Check out Page 7 😊  https://www.ghp-news.com/issues/fitness-and-nutrition-awards-2020/
